Patric Olsson is originally from Skåne, Sweden. In the year of 2004 he moved to Norrköping and has since then been involved in almost everything, other then being responsible för education in the studentunion LinTek 07/08 has Patric had a seat in the PR and Information committee of the MT section, the Legion 06/07, LiTH’s board 07-09 and the board of SFS styrelse 08/09. Patric did his master thesis on Autoliv Electronics in Linköping in the fall of 2009. During his time on the Media Technology program, Patric read mostly courses about imageprocessing, imagedatabases and projektmanagement.

Patrics master thesis was about the use of regression to find a modell to be able to dynamically scale down the bitdepth of pictures and at the sam time keep the relefant information of the picture. The primary usage for this algorithm is a night vision system for cars, developed by Autolive Electronics in Linköping.
