Bengt Larsson is currently working with graphic development for IKEA Communications AB in Sweden.
Bengt has amongst other things been a part of the creation of a special color-management system and is working to achieve a stable plattform for both digital and traditional photography.
When the border between mediums becomes less defined it is important that technology supports the creative process.
Coming from a background as a photographer he was one of the first in Sweden to use creative machines and digital technology like pressure-sensitive screens and pens.
He started out with image processing and synthesis in the sectors of advertisement and the car industriy.
He started working for IKEA year 2003.

On the Media Technology Days 2010, Bengt will talk about how IKEA works with image production, with a focus on “real” digital photography, namely 3D rendering.
