He will talk about the sequences and challanges involved in the making of James Cameron's Avatar in stereoscopic 3D.
Carter Emmart (Haydenplanetariet)
He will talk about how they are visualizing the Universe. Producing immersive dome movies about the universe relies on data, or rather measurements, the same way that production of maps do.
Kjell Reuterswärd (DICE)
He will talk about the gaming industry, DICE and what types of carriers that awaits the students of Media Technology.
Johan Åkesson (DICE)
He will talk about the renderingtechnologies that is in use in the games of today and also give a glimpse of the algorithms of tomorrow.
Mattias Lindahl (Fido)
He will talk, among other things, about his experiences of the movie and VFX industry in London.
Mattias Lagergren (Exjobb)
He will talk about SPH and his graduationwork at FIDO.
Patric Olsson (Exjobb)
He will talk about his graduationwork at Autoliv Electronics.
Dr. Mahiar Hamedi (Donya Labs)
Dr. Mahiar Hamedi is the founder and CEO of Donya Labs AB.
Dr. Michael Doggett (Lund University)
On the Media Technology Days, Dr. Doggett will talk about the GPU Architecture.
Bengt Larsson (IKEA Communication)
Bengt Larsson is currently working with graphic development for IKEA Communications AB in Sweden.
Dayne Cowan (Cinesite UK)
Currently the Digital Development Manager. Previously, Dayne was Co-Head of 3D at Double Negative, as well as being one of their Senior CG Supervisors
Petter Börgesson (Semcon)
He will talk about how the design process looks for the development of a product and the proportion and significance of the visualization.
Alan Chalmers (University of Warwick)
He will talk about Real Virtuality, and how such a system may be achieved, and show why Real Virtuality is a step-change from current virtual reality systems.

Medieteknikdagarna 2010 har startat

Carter Emmart

Medieteknikdagarna 2010 ingvigdes för knappa två timmar sedan av professor Anders Ynnerman, som även är en av huvudpersonerna bakom Norrköpings Visualiseringscenter vilket invigs under våren.

Efter invigningstalet tog Carter Emmart från Haydenplanetariet i New York över, och höll en timmes föreläsning där han berättade om den visualisering av universum som han arbetat med.

Fortlöpande under dagen uppdateras hemsidan med nyheter och bilder.
